We collect only what is necessary to provide a personalized, functional experience.

• Name and email address when you create an account or sign in with Google or Apple
• Messages or inquiries submitted through the contact form on our website
• Promo codes you enter to unlock premium features

Information collected automatically:

• Your values journey results — the values you keep, pass, and ultimately select as your five core values
• Journey completion data including timestamps and which stage you completed
• Device type and operating system (collected by Firebase automatically)
• App usage and crash data to help us improve performance

Anonymous use: If you choose to use the app as a guest without signing in, no personal information is linked to your session and your journey is not saved to the cloud.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Save and restore your values journey across devices
• Manage your account and authenticate your identity securely
• Unlock and manage premium features you have purchased or been granted
• Validate promo codes for counselors, educators, and youth leaders
• Respond to messages or questions submitted through our contact form
• Improve the app experience based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Data Retention

Your account data and journey results are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and journey history will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.

Children's Privacy

The WAY Values App is designed to be used by people of all ages, including students and young adults, under the guidance of a parent, guardian, teacher, or counselor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us at info@findingyourvalues.com and we will promptly delete that information.
